Agree with the other posters. What happened? This was my favourite rum. I've been drinking it since it hit the market and it used to be awesome. I loved the clear taste. Now, there is a sweet, almost cloying aftertaste that just doesn't cut it for a quality white rum. Maybe too much vanilla in those barrels? Definitely a step backwards. I'm currently struggling through a 40 oz of batch 238. Please bring back the old recipe.
